RACE PROCEDURES

1.      Initial race starts get the green coming out of turn 4 approaching the straightway, as well as any restarts. (ALL RESTARTS WILL BE TEXAS RESTARTS). Races will be started at a moderate rate of speed. There will be a orange cone on front stretch, no passing before cone.

2.      Vehicles that cause two cautions will be black flagged for the remainder of the race.  This rule requires judgement calls,  if you're having a bad night track officials may end it for you.

3.      Any vehicle deemed to be a hazard to the other drivers on the track will be black flagged at the discretion of the speedway official.

4.   Any vehicle black flagged is expected to leave the speedway immediately. It is the drivers responsibility to see an official to find out the reason for being black flagged.  Any vehicle not obeying the black flag may be fined $100 per occurence.  Track officials will disscuss judgement calls in a respectful manner only.

5.      The following are race procedure discretion calls made by the speedway officials concerning accident on the speedway.

A.     Speedway officials will determine the vehicles that are considered to be directly involved in the accident. Any repairs done on your race cars either on the track or in the pits will require you to go to the rear of the field on the restart. Vehicles caught up in an accident before the caution is displayed will start in the rear on a restart. If in an accident before the caution is displayed it will be a discretion call. We will make an effort to sort out an accident taking out only the cars that are immediately involved in the accident and putting them in the rear of the restart.

B.     Even if you don’t stop on the racing surface, raceway officials may feel that you were the cause of the accident and may make you go to the rear of the restart.

C.     Speedway officials look for contact among vehicles and vehicles that stop on the track when putting cars to the rear for a restart.

D.     If you go to infield or pit under a caution or red you go to the rear on restart.

E.      If you stop on the track to bring out caution there will be a one lap penalty.

6.      Speed limit in pit area is an idle. This applies to all vehicles including 4 wheelers.  $50 fine will be deducted from pay out.  This goes for ATV's associated with your race team.

7.      If you start the feature in a car other than the car you ran in the heat race with, you will go to the rear of the field.

  1. 8.      When the flagman initially starts a race, and the green flag is initially waved, the race has officially started, regardless of a lap being completed or not. Once the race is green flagged you cannot change cars and receive points for the second car driven.

9.      If a driver changes cars he must use a car that normally competes in the same class. A driver may compete in more than one class with the approval of raceway officials.

10.  No pit crew personal vehicles allowed in the pit area if not pulling a race car, or unless otherwise authorized by the track officials.

11.  Stretched out black flag is for mechanical problems. If you don’t stop no points or pay.

       12. Texas restarts.  Leader in front second place can choose line
