- BODY: Any american made rear wheel drive passenger car with "A" frame front suspension, 108 inch minimum wheelbase. All glass and plastic removed. Must have full windshield screen. Doors must be welded shut. Firewall and drivers compartment can be stock or fabricated(aluminum or steel). Must have stock or fabricated rear firewall. Fabrications must meet standard racing safety. Cars without stock firewall and floorboards have to add a 30# weight on right frame rail across from driver(weight will be removable for inspection. Must have a four point roll cage welded to frame, front and rear hoops are allowed and must be welded to frame and cage all pipe must be inside car. May have nerf bars 1" by 2" square tubing with 45 degree ends. Steel or aluminum bodies only. Plastic noses ok.
- SUSPENSION: Only stock suspension parts are allowed in stock locations(With the exception of the upper A-frame mounts may be turned for castor camber adjustment. Use stock bracket only, no added material.). Racing springs may be used in stock locations. No coilover, aluminum bodied, or air shocks. Only one shock per wheel. Shocks and sway bars must remain in stock locations. NO WORKING WEIGHT JACKS(Welded or welded cap OK).
- REAR END: Stock or can use 9" but must bolt in stock locations with stock arms. Stock arms can be drilled for pinon angle must use stock mounts. . Floaters ok. May use weld on caliper brackets, GM metric calipers and hat type rotors. Must be locked.
- TRANSMISSON: Must be stock OEM with steel bell housing for standards. May use mini clutch and torque tubes. Drive shaft must be painted white with a safty hoop on front half.
- CARBURATOR: One two barrel or four barrel only. No predators. One 1" spacer may be used. Anyone finishing on the lead lap may claim carberator of top four finishers. $400 to claim.
- WHEELS: Steel wheels 10" maximum width 15" in diameter. 1" lug nuts required. Can run beadlocks anywhere.
- TIRES: Maximum 10 / 27/ 15" asphalt scuffs only.
- FUEL: Must have fuel cell securely mounted. If fuel cell does not have aircraft style postive seal filler neck / cap system or a flapper, steel, or ball type a filler rollover valve is required. Must have tip over valve on vent line. Gasoline only racing gas ok. Must use mechanical fuel pump in stock location.
- STEERING: Stock gear boxes in stock location. May use quickner.
- BRAKES : Four wheel working brakes.
- WEIGHT: 3200 lbs with driver after race.
- INTAKE: Unaltered OEM cast iron, unaltered aftermarket aluminum intakes allowed are; weiand GM #7547-1 Ford #7515, #8023, or #7516 chrysler #7545 Edelbrock Gm #2701 Ford #7181 Chrysler #2915
- ENGINE: Stock steel blocks only. No strokers of any kind. Stock or stock replcement crankshaft only may be balanced NO DRILLED THROWS no lightening on rear flange. Must have inspection hole in oil pan one inch in diameter. Maximum cubic inch limits GM 364, Ford 360, and Chrysler 370. Steel I beam rods only. Hydraulic flat tappet or solid flat tappet cams only. No stud girdles. Stock OEM heads(no vortec or fuel injected heads. Valves - 2.02 max intake (except ford clevelands stock), 1.60 max exhaust (except ford clevelands stock). Flattop or dished piston only. One radiator in stock location. No dry sump motors. Chevy aftermarket heads include DART pt# 10021070,10021171,10021010,10021111,10024266,10024360, and 10024267; Summit racing pt# sum152123; IMCA/EQ sport mod head ch350i; WORLD PROD. pt# 043600, 043600-1, 043600-2, 043610, 043610-1, and 043610-2. Ford aftermarket heads include World Products Windsor Jr. #053030-2 All heads may be milled, but no heads may be ported or polished.
