  • This class is open to drivers above the age of 14, if a driver is below 18 they must have parental consent from both parents and be approved by track officials to be capable of participating in a racing event. This class is designed for beginners and less experienced drivers.  If you are a past points champion, have won more than six races in one year, over the age of thirty, you need to be approved by track to race in this class.  
  • BODY:   1970 to present rear wheel drive cars not less than 108" wheel base, passenger car, no sport cars or special edition cars, cars must remain stock. No gutting except for glass, lights, dash and interior items that will burn or break. Drivers door can be hulled out for door bars. Doors must be welded shut. Stock bumpers only may run plastic cover over bumper with no extra bracing . Must have a full windshield screen and drivers window net. One aluminum radiator ok. No camaros, no turbos, and no superchargers. All 78 up gm metric cars must run a v-6 or 305 engine.
  • ENGINE:    Hydraulic flat tappet cam only. Engine must pull 12 inches of vacum at 1200 rpm. Engine parts may not be modified outside of oem specs. No cutting, porting, polishing of stock heads. Stock steel intake. May run headers under chassis only. No racing products, gm in gm, ford in ford, and dodge in dodge. Maximum compression is 175 psi checked by removing one spark plug and turning engine 5 compression revolutions. No 305 heads on 350 blocks. No stroker engines. Only stock length rods. No angle milled heads, no double hump heads. Maximum cubic inch limits chevy 364, ford 360, and chrysler 370. Engine must remain in stock location. Cast flat top or cast dished pistons only, chevy must use 4 valve relief. Must use stock type rods. Stock crankshafts only. One inch inspection hole recomended or you could have to remove your oil pan at track.
  • CARBERATOR:    (One only) Holley (unaltered) #4412 or #0-80583-1, 500 cfm two barrel may be used on any engine. Gm quadrajet or two barrel may be used on chevy. Motorcraft two or four barrel may be used on ford. Carter or afb two or four barrel may be used on chrysler.
  • SUSPENSION    Stock unaltered suspensions only. May run quicksteer.
  • REAREND    Stock for car in stock condition can be locked.
  • BRAKES    Stock brakes with no proportioning valves other than stock. All four brakes must work.
  • ROLLCAGE    Four point cage without any bracing outside of passenger compartment. You must have 3 door bars in drivers door. One bar 1 1/2" max in front of radiator no wider than frame no taller than radiator. You may have 18" braces on front hoop down to frame.
  • WHEELS    8 inch maximum racing wheels ok no aluminum no bead locks.
  • TIRES    8 inch scuffs, used hoosier 500/g-60 , used american racer g-60, or street tires no mud grips or studs.
  • TRANSMISSION    Must be stock for year of car no racing torque converters or stall converters no racing clutches or flywheels.
  • SEATS    Approved racing seats only properly mounted.
  • SEATBELTS    5 point racing harness with quick release in good condition.
  • FUEL    Gasoline only. Racing gas ok.
  • FUEL CELL    Must have aircraft style positive seal filler neck/cap system, or a flapper, spring or ball type rollover valve is required.
  • BATTERY:   Must be securely mounted in a covered container.
  • WEIGHT    3500 lbs after race
